Arnaud Mortet Mazoyeres Chambertin 2019 (750ml)
Arnaud Mortet (Domaine Denis Mortet)
Domaine Denis Mortet, under the leadership of Arnaud Mortet, is one of the brightest stars in Gevrey-Chambertin. Founded in 1956 by Arnaud’s grandfather Charles, the domaine rose to international fame under his father Denis in the 1990s. Arnaud took the reins in 2006 at just 24 years old and has since elevated the estate to new heights of elegance and precision while honoring its powerful heritage.
Today, the domaine (and its négociant arm under the Arnaud Mortet label) is celebrated for meticulous organic farming, extremely low yields, and thoughtful winemaking. Arnaud has shifted the style toward greater finesse — reducing new oak, gentler extractions, and using innovative techniques like hand-de-stemming clusters — resulting in wines that are more aromatic, refined, and terroir-transparent than ever before.
